Abstract

Fault tolerance is an imperative requirement of cloud systems, considering the growing reliance on their dependability and responsiveness. Implementing artificial intelligence (AI) in fault-tolerance systems provides revolutionary solutions for increasing system robustness.

This paper investigates AI-based fault-tolerance models, such as machine learning (ML)-based prediction models, anomaly detection, and self-healing recovery systems. Simulation-based studies and statistical inference prove the efficiency of these methods. Recommendations for the implementation of AI-based fault tolerance in current cloud designs are provided at the conclusion of the study, highlighting its potential to diminish downtime and increase system reliability.
