Abstract

As organizations increasingly adopt multi-cloud strategies to enhance scalability, performance, and flexibility, the security of sensitive data has become a paramount concern. This manuscript explores best practices for securing data in a multi-cloud environment, addressing key challenges such as data breaches, compliance requirements, and misconfigurations.

The study combines a detailed literature review with an analysis of current methodologies to propose a comprehensive framework for multi-cloud data security. Key findings include the critical role of encryption, identity and access management (IAM), continuous monitoring, and shared responsibility models in safeguarding data. This manuscript aims to provide a roadmap for organizations seeking robust multi-cloud security strategies.
